Hello Terrarians! 🌳  

As always, thank you for your patience. We’re incredibly grateful for how supportive and understanding you’ve been, especially over the last few weeks 😊.  Fulfilment of this game has been a huge undertaking, and though we’ve tried our very best to anticipate and mitigate problems, we’re not immune to unexpected delays and unforeseen difficulties.

The boat's entry to its UK port was delayed again, but after speaking to our agents today, we've had it confirmed that the boat will be docking at 9pm tonight, with delivery of the containers taking place next week. Fulfilment by Zatu will begin shortly after.

First and foremost, thank you 🙏 We know waiting isn’t the most exciting part of any adventure, especially when other backers have already received their loot. 

We really appreciate your patience as stock continues to arrive, clear customs, and make its way to fulfilment warehouses. This final stretch is always the trickiest part of the journey, and we’re incredibly grateful for how supportive and understanding you’ve been 😊 Let’s dive into the latest shipping and fulfilment updates for each region!

🚢 Shipping + Fulfilment Update

Below is the latest information available for your region. Please be aware that all sea freight dates are estimates provided by the shipping carriers and may change. Once vessels arrive at port, containers must clear customs (a process that can take a few days under ideal circumstances, but may take several weeks if selected for inspection) before being transported overland to fulfilment warehouses and dispatched to individual backers.

Tracking information will be sent to you via email shortly before orders are dispatched from fulfilment warehouses. The email will be sent by the fulfilment company, or by the courier service used by the fulfilment company. 

• USA (+ Alaska + Hawaii) + Mexico: The remaining 4 containers have now cleared customs and should arrive at the Bridge warehouse tomorrow (Wednesday 4th March). These containers contain all Hellstone pledges (plus the remaining Gold pledge and playmat stock), hence the arrival of Gold pledges and playmats with backers ahead of Hellstone pledges thus far. Upon arrival, the stock will need to be checked before dispatch, but we're hoping for a quick turnaround.  
  Orders are sent in waves, so please don’t worry if others receive tracking before you do. If you haven't received a tracking email by Monday 9th March, please email the Bridge team at [email protected] and they will be able to provide tracking. 
• Canada: Sea freight underway; container transferred to feeder vessel due to transit delay. Estimated arrival at port March 10th. 
• UK: Sea freight underway; containers transferred to feeder ship for final leg of sea journey. Estimated arrival at port March 12th. 
• Europe 1+2: Meeples have confirmed that fulfilment will begin today (Tuesday 3rd March). They expect fulfilment to take 3-4 weeks. 
  Orders (and therefore tracking information) will be sent in waves, so please don’t worry if others receive tracking before you do. Please note that games and playmats may arrive on different days due to postal handling of parcels with different sizes and weights.
• Asia 1+ 2: Fulfilment nearing completion.
• Australia + New Zealand: Fulfilment nearing completion.

🚢 Shipping + Fulfilment Update

Below is the latest information available for your region. Please be aware that all sea freight dates are estimates provided by the shipping carriers and may change. Once vessels arrive at port, containers must clear customs (a process that can take a few days under ideal circumstances, but may take several weeks if selected for inspection) before being transported overland to fulfilment warehouses and dispatched to individual backers.

• USA (+ Alaska + Hawaii) + Mexico: 2 of 6 containers have arrived at Bridge fulfilment centre, the remainder of the containers are clearing customs. Pre-dispatch stock check underway.  As this region has the highest number of backers, fulfilment will take at least 2–3 weeks (possibly longer). Orders will be uploaded in waves, so please don’t worry if others receive tracking before you do.
• Canada: Sea freight underway on CMA CGM YUKON. Estimated arrival at port February 27th.
• UK: ONE TRADITION. Estimated arrival at port March 12th (Edited) When we first published this update, tracking information provided to us suggested that the UK vessel had already docked and that containers were being unloaded. We have since confirmed with our shipping agents that, due to a delay in transit, the ship is still at sea and has not yet docked. Apologies for the confusion, and thanks for bearing with us while we monitor the shipment and keep you updated!
• Europe 1+2: All containers are at the Meeples fulfilment centre, pre-dispatch stock check underway. 
• Asia 1+ 2: Fulfilment nearing completion.
• Australia + New Zealand: Fulfilment nearing completion. Please note that games and playmats may arrive on different days due to postal handling of parcels with different sizes and weights.

As we mentioned in our previous updates, we know this stage of the process can be both exciting and frustrating, especially with shifting ETAs and variables like customs clearance that can take an unpredictable amount of time. We’re in a similar position, relying on updates from our shipping, customs brokerage and fulfilment partners.

🔧 Useful Component Tips

Boss Miniatures: The push-fit joints may feel tight at first but this is intentional; they are designed to loosen slightly over time without becoming too loose after repeated use.

Dice Tray (Hellstone Pledge) The poppers will be firm when new and will ease with use. When opening, hold the poppers directly rather than pulling the neoprene apart, as this may cause tearing.

❔ Errata + FAQ Info

Despite our best efforts, as with all huge projects like this, it’s inevitable that there will be a small number of errata. Sadly, we can’t push a digital patch to you, but we can collect this information, keep it up to date and make it readily available to you. We’ve combined the FAQ document (accessible via the QR code in the rulebook) with an errata document which will have all the information you need.

Here are 3 errata to be aware of when playing/ reading the rulebook for the first time:

• Rulebook page 12 (Character Phase Summary, under ‘Using Other Card Icons and Effects’): In the following sentence it should say face-up, not face-down: “…Once you’ve used every action point, icon and effect on a card, place that card on top of your discard pile, face-up…”
•  Rulebook page 28 (Additional Rules, under ‘Character Death & Respawning’): Final sentence should read: “…At the start of the Character Phase after you died, replenish your health and mana to their current maximum. Place your character piece on any empty Forest Surface square, or on any unoccupied square in a bed house, then continue playing as normal…”
• Queen Bee Loot Cards (1-2P and 3-4P): Loot should include Bee Armor.

We’ll make an updated digital rulebook available in the next few weeks, and we’ll also compile the rulebook errata sections into a single printable file that you can print at home and overlay if you wish 😊

As we mentioned in our last update, we know this stage of the process can be both exciting and frustrating, especially with shifting ETAs and variables like customs clearance that can take an unpredictable amount of time. 🙏 A Little Request: Marking Games as Received on KS

Once your game arrives, it would really help us if you could mark your reward as ‘received’ on Kickstarter. This lets Kickstarter know that fulfilment is underway and that rewards are being delivered successfully.

To do this, simply log in to Kickstarter and head to your profile (click your avatar in the top-right corner). From there, open Backed Projects, select Terraria: The Board Game, and at the top of the page you’ll see this:

Just click ‘Mark as received’ and you’re all set. Thanks for taking a moment to do this!

📦 Packing and Stacking Video

✨ Transparent Cards Now Film-Free!

In the rulebook, on page 4 under ‘Overlay Cards’ it says ‘Remove protective film before first use’. Between printing of the rulebooks and packing of the transparent cards, Gameland found a way to protect the cards with varnish instead of film, which means there’s nothing to remove – you can spend less time peeling and more time playing! We added a flyer to each copy of the game that explains this change, but we wanted to add a reminder here too.

🃏 Card Counts + Dimensions

Here’s a reminder of final card counts and card dimensions for the purpose of sourcing your own card sleeves. We strongly advise waiting until you have received your game to buy third-party card sleeves so that you can choose exactly what to order for your individual needs/ preferences. 

The game will include:

174 Poker Cards (63.5 mm x 88.9 mm)

• 112 action cards (32 Starting, 24 Guide, 16 Merchant, 40 Loot)
• 30 boss cards – if sleeved, use clear sleeves, not art sleeves
• 32 chest cards (30 base game + 2 promo) – if sleeved, use clear sleeves, not art sleeves

If you are a Hellstone backer, you will be receiving 200 full art card sleeves: enough to sleeve all the action cards in the game, plus loads of spares that you can keep for future, or use with your favourite card games! As noted above, some poker-sized cards in the game (boss and chest cards) have information on both sides of the card and therefore should not be sleeved with these art sleeves. 

297 Mini Cards (41 mm x 63 mm)

If sleeved, use clear sleeves, not art sleeves

• 56 objective cards
• 175 equipment cards (172 + 3 promo)
• 66 consumable cards (64 base game + 2 promo)

As we have mentioned previously, we have designed the card box to hold sleeved poker + mini card cards - just remove the foam blocks provided and split the cards across the space created.

Square Cards

The game’s square cards are designed to sit within the player board and shouldn’t be sleeved as it will adversely affect the way the cards’ function during gameplay.

❔ Errata + FAQ Info

Despite our best efforts, as with all huge projects like this, it’s inevitable that there will be a small number of errata. In light of this, we’ve combined the FAQ document (accessible via the QR code in the rulebook) with an errata document which we’ll keep up to date. The few errata we've identified are tiny typos in the rulebook - none of which affect gameplay in any way.

🤩 Community Spotlight: Board Games Houses in Sprite Form!

We’re not sure how this slipped past us, but last year Reddit user VanillaDemon recreated the board game’s houses as sprites - a perfect full-circle moment! We absolutely love them and couldn’t resist sharing them with you all. Thanks VanillaDemon!

Huge congratulations to the Re-Logic team on the recent release of the Terraria 1.4.5 ‘Bigger and Boulder’ update ! We celebrated by firing up our own copies in the studio (and dreaming about what new content we might be able to bring to the board game in the future! 👀)

On the topic of new content, a huge thank you to everyone who shared their ideas for potential Hardmode expansion content for Terraria: The Board Game! We’ve collected your suggestions and will be reviewing them in upcoming development meetings.
